This design is a collaboration with my partner, who had the idea for the “Love Is Love Is Love Is You” repeat text and chose the typeface. I created a new mug shape with straight sides and a curved bottom to show off the words.

Each mug was thrown on the potters wheel from white stoneware clay. It is decorated with coloured underglaze brushstrokes and a screen-printed design. Finished with transparent glaze.

9cm tall, 8cm wide at rim, 300ml-ish capacity (measurements are approximate). Every item is handmade and there will be some variations in size, shape and decoration. Dishwasher and microwave safe, gentle hand-washing recommended.

REASON FOR REDUCTION:

1 - Blue - Hairline crack at handle join.  These occur in the glaze firing and the molten glaze fills / covers the crack before cooling, but naturally this can be a weak point. (where I have multiple items with similar flaws, I have shown images of some examples only)
