This mug was thrown on the potters wheel from white stoneware clay. It is hand decorated in coloured underglazes with an old school anchor tattoo design. Finished with transparent glaze.

9.5-10cm tall, 9.5-10cm wide at base, 400ml + capacity (measurements are approximate). Every item is handmade and there will be some variations in size, shape and pattern repeat. Dishwasher and microwave safe, gentle hand-washing recommended.

All right handed version - if you hold the mug in your right hand the design faces away from your body.

REASON FOR REDUCTION:

1 - Hope - crack at handle join - These occur in the glaze firing and the molten glaze fills / covers the crack before cooling, but naturally this can be a weak point. (where I have multiple items with similar flaws, I have shown images of some examples only)
