This mug is perfect for winding down with a calming hot drink in the evening. Thrown on the potters wheel from white stoneware clay, it is hand decorated in coloured underglazes with night-time weather icons - thunderstorm on one side, and lightly cloudy moonlit skies on the other. Finished with transparent glaze. Finally, gold lustre is applied to the lightning bolt and the mug is fired for a third time.
